pumpkin patch

We took Tripp to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday. We all had so much fun! I took tons of pictures and we came home with the perfect little pumpkin.

Riding the cow-train... One of his favorite things. He laughed hysterically the whole time! We got off and he said "go again mommy" and so we did. He was so excited!

Playing in the corn bed, much more fun than sand!

On the way to pick out a pumpkin...

I found it!

Feeding the donkey. The guy came over to show Tripp how to feed the donkey corn. Lee and I thought he wouldn't try it, but he grabbed a handful and let the donkey eat right from his hand (and repeated it about 6 times...)

Sliding down with Mommy

Daddy's turn!

Tripp was asleep about a mile down the road once we left. He had a blast and did not want to leave. Lee and I had a blast just watching Tripp (and maybe going down that monster slide). Where were these pumpkin patches when we were little?!?!?

zoo boo

We went to Zoo Boo last Friday night. Tripp was so excited about the choo-choo train and the animals. While we didn't ride the choo-choo or see the animals, we did have a good time. They set up little games around the front and they have either the Fright Express or the Pumpkin Pull (hayride) you can ride. The train ride is made to be scary, and they warn against small children riding. So we were left with the hayride. We've never been to Zoo Boo before, and I am not sure if we'll go back, but we did have a fun with Will and Margaret who came with us.

Playing go-fish!

The Candy Walk

Bowling.

Tripp did enjoy all the games. He should have a lot of fun next week at the church's fall festival!

while mommy was away...

The boys played! Lee took Tripp out to the farm to help with the "work day" while I was in Charleston. Tripp had fun on the tractor and four wheeler, throwing rocks and he even helped Lee plant a field.

Riding the tractor and the four-wheeler with Daddy!

Lee loved having Tripp out there with all the boys. He was also proud of himself for taking the camera so they could tell me all about their day. I was pretty impressed as well!

charleston getaway

I went to Charleston last week with the ladies I work with for a conference. We did a little work and a little play. I've never been to Charleston before and loved it! We ate at some very good restaurants, did a carriage ride around the city, shopped, saw the "beach" and had a lot of fun in between.

The three of us at the beach. It's nothing like a white sandy Alabama/Florida beach!

Beautiful homes on the Battery!

And if eating wonderful food in Charleston weren't enough...

We stopped in Savannah on the way home and ate at the famous Paula Deen's The Lady and Sons. We drove up without a reservation and lucked out getting seated right away. I had the best fried green tomatoes I've ever eaten!

It was nice to get away and relax. I really enjoyed this trip, but I sure did miss my boys.

first football game

Tripp had a blast at his first football game! We headed to Tuscaloosa two Saturdays ago to see Alabama vs. Arkansas. We tried to tailgate with my parents, but the rain sort of messed things up. By game time the rain was gone and we had a good time.

Tripp and Aunt D (which sounds like Andi)

Going for a ride with Uncle Neal before the game.

How cute am I?

Had to change for the game... Thanks Pa for my new jersey!

Ready for the game!

Staying entertained throughout the game - playing with Daddy's hat and Pa's binnoculars and visiting the cheerleaders.

He loved the shaker! Thank goodness Lee was sitting in front of him. High fives!

It's no secret that I am the lone Auburn fan in a big family of Bama fans. Lee and I are both good sports when watching the other team play, and I definitely got major points this day! Hopefully we'll be visiting the Plains soon to see Auburn play. Thank goodness both teams are having a good year so far!
