Having fun with Gates and Price during the tornado warnings!
Snow Baby... January 2008
Tripp loves snow.... March 2009
Tripp thought the snow was fun, reaching out and trying to catch it. It was too wet and windy to stay outside for more than a few minutes, but we ventured in and out several times that morning. He would look out the windows and just ohh and aww. I am so mad because I left both cameras at work last week, and so Sunday morning I was driving out to get a disposable so I didn't miss the moment of Tripp's second snow! I'll drop it by this afternoon to get developed. What a pain... Thank goodness for digitals! How did we manage before? I did get some good pictures with Mom's camera. Here are a few.
The snowflakes in Tripp's "hair"
Saturday morning during the tornado sirens and all, we went to the new Gymboree Play & Music that has just opened. We had a free pass to check it out in hopes of signing up for monthly classes. Tripp had a blast! They have play mats, tunnels, and slides for him to run around and play with. They also had a parachute, which poor little Tripp was not very fond of... see video below.
We had a great weekend! Tripp is now twenty months old and constantly learning new things! He learns new words everyday and loves to talk and yell! He loves giving kisses now, but he also loves to push :( He has been a frequent visitor to timeout lately at school, but hopefully it's just a phase, not a warning sign for terrible twos. He definitely fights for what he wants. His new BFF is Thomas, the train. As mentioned before he loves his Thomas dvd. He wants to watch it when he gets up in the morning and when he gets home from school everyday. It has made getting ready in the morning and cooking supper in the evening a lot easier. I am just not used to him sitting still for so long. I guess I better enjoy it for the time being!

Uncle Neal and Tripp playing on the swing set! Yes, he is wearing shorts, I believe it was close to 80 degrees outside! And now it's 30! No wonder we were all sick!
